The following bug was fixed in time for today's branch nightly:

• Bug 308094 - Increase the default size of the download window so that all buttons are visible

Note that to see this change, you must remove your preference file located in ~/Library/Preferences (it's called org.mozilla.camino.plist). This will reset all UI changes you made including window sizes, toolbar customizations, etc.
