Next Maintenance Release of Camino

The next release of Camino, version 1.0.2, will be coming in about a week. A regression was shipped with Camino 1.0.1, which causes issues for users of Proxy Auto Config files. A second bug, which shipped with Camino 1.0 but wasn't patched until recently, will also be fixed in Camino 1.0.2.

Note: With the exception of bug 322044, the bugs listed below are not fixed on any branch yet, but are planned for inclusion in Camino 1.0.2 (bold indicates a blocker).

• Bug 322044 - When Camino is hidden, invoking via Service does not respect external app pref
• Bug 326668 - [fix for bug 336447] - compreg.dat and xpti.dat still live in Camino.app
  
• Bug 336447 - 1.0.1 breaks proxy PAC support
• Bug 336497 - Writing Spotlight metadata files for Bonjour bookmarks generates thousands of files

Other minor bugs will be considered on their merit, but this release is planned to be a quick one.
